The UN expert on slavery-like practices has called on the Ghanaian government to do more to tackle the problem of child labour. Gulnara Shahinian, who was in the West African nation last week, said that despite authorities' efforts, thousands of children across the country are still working because their parents cannot afford to send them to school.
